Almost always, yes. A like-for-like roof replacement on an existing conservatory is normally permitted development and doesn't need planning, even in a conservation area. We'll confirm this with South Hams District Council for your specific property during the survey, and handle Building Regulations on your behalf.
Our property is granite-built — will lead flashing chase into it cleanly?+
Yes. A lot of the older Yealmpton, Newton Ferrers and Noss Mayo housing is granite or stone, often with deep mortar joints. We chase Code-4 lead flashing properly into the stone rather than relying on silicone, which is the only way to get a long-term weather seal on this type of wall.
